The mass-media and the social networks are full of contents, but most of them are just crap. Mainly on selected successful platforms, such as Twitter (temporarily renamed “X”), TikTok, …
A very powerful way to be continuously fed with intellectual, selected content is the use of RSS feeds. Not as some try to force you to use, through “social networks” or specific applications:

because it will impose you unsolicited content, such as advertisements or even more, but through the standard, patent-free, universally compatible format dedicated to such applications, RSS (“Really Simple Syndication”)
RSS allows you to subscribe to content (audio, video, text-based) and nothing more, without having to use any proprietary, specific application, such as “RTL play”, “FranceInfo app”, “TF1+Streaming” or any other such bloatware !
The only software you need is a universal RSS client, of YOUR choice, such as AntennaPod, available through the alternative repository application F-Droid.

Those RSS clients usually allows you search for specific content:

Select it and add it freely, without any other condition, to your subscriptions:

Then, the application may be configured to automatically download the newly published articles part of those RSS subscriptions, as example nightly, through wifi only, to save your data plan (if applicable):

This will allow you to enjoy selected contents, in either video or audio-only formats (or event texts) so that you can occupy your mind with always updated, always available quality information, while driving, bicycling, shopping, resting, house-keeping or any other secondary occupation.
Very interesting sources are available, but usually hidden or difficult to find from the mainstream web sites, because the producers trend to prefers you to fall into their “proprietary app” trap, that cost you brain time and unnecessary attention, while it brings them finance, through the advertisement business and also the selling of your metadata (habits, usages, …)
Most of the sites do not trend to put their RSS feeds on the spot light. However, they usually exists, or may be bring available to you by third party community efforts. So be patient: search for “RSS”, either in the web sites search field, or directly in the web page texts. Also, search for the RSS logo, sometimes available in some hidden place:

The RSS clients, such as AntennaPod, contains a RSS dedicated search function, that is based on the other user’s found ressources. So by entering a word (such as “Arte”), you find a RSS stream that is not even shown on Arte official web site !
So be clever: use the RSS way, and save your time and money !
