Intertel Luxembourg is proud to announce a shared event:
the group visit of the cattenom nuclear power plant,
the twelfth largest nuclear power station in the world.

Information about the EDF nuclear electricity production plant may be found
on their web site

Unfortunately, there will be no German-speaking guide available – we are in France. Sorry about that.

How to book this unique event ?

The meeting time is:

  • 8:30 am for the morning visits
  • 1:30 pm for the afternoon visits

The meeting location is:

so we will be able to meet, chat, exchange and speak ill of the absents or late ones before the start of the actual visit…
The visits last 3 hours:

  • 9 am – 12 pm for morning visits
  • 2 pm – 5 pm for afternoon visits

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Here are some FAQ answers for your convenience,
but in case of discrepancy, EDF provided info prevails.

  • The visitor age is 18-75.
  • Interested friends, colleagues, family members, are welcome.
  • There is no entrance ticket required, as you are personally registered.
  • You will be required to present a valid ID card (for E.U. citizens and residents) or passport (others) to access.
  • You are required to provide the scan of your ID or passport at booking time.
  • Pregnant women, visitors carrying canes or crutches, visitors with limited mobility (wheel chairs, …), visitor with pacemaker are not allowed.
  • People who have undergone recently a scintigraphy screening are not allowed.
  • Wear non-floating clothing, ankle-length trousers (including for women) and a long-sleeved top. Socks must be worn.
  • Personal belongings such as bags and pouches will have to remain in the vehicles in the car park.
  • Pictures or video recordings are strictly prohibited.
  • The visit is FREE OF CHARGE (in your currency of choice).
  • Intertel does not organize accommodation neither transportation.
